Archaeozoology or Zooarchaeology is the study of animal bones from archaeological sites. The course will give a methodical introduction to archaeozoology, covering some of its theoretical contributions to the study of the prehistoric societies, as well as the practical knowledge of collecting, recording and analyzing archaeological animal remains.
